Operating from its manufacturing facilities in Accrington, Darwen and showrooms in the centre of London, Senator are the UK's largest office furniture manufacturer with a turnover in excess of £100M and over 1000 employees.

The factory canteen at the Huncoat site required a complete face lift including a refit of the kitchen area.

Having previously supplied & serviced equipment in the past to Senator, they gave us the opportunity to quote for the new scheme.

When we met up with Julia Mustoe, the brief was to re-design the kitchen using the best of the existing equipment & to incorporate new pieces where required to cater for approximately 80-100 staff through breakfast & lunch time servings.

We also needed to deliver a new servery complete with granite worktops, including 6 x 1/1 bains marie chilled display units & plate warmer dispenser.

With the designs complete and the scheme agreed, an order was received & the installation dates booked.

We then had regular site visits to meet the clients' builders & tradesmen to work with them on services required for the kitchen & servery area.

Once they were ready, we installed a complete new extraction system, kitchen equipment old & new, new servery & electrically operated roller shutters to enable the dining area to be used when the kitchen is closed.

The face lift was successfully completed in time for Christmas lunches & well received by all the staff.
